Whale Season Launch will be held on the lawns of the SA Museum on Friday 31st May. Professor Blubber and his team will entertain along with guest speakers, kids activities, artefacts & more! A variety of hand on experiences will be available for everyone to help us celebrate the start of the 2013 Whale Season. Proudly sponsored by City of Victor Harbor, South Australian Whale Centre, Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism and the South Australian Museum.

Free Activities throughout the day include:
Professor Blubber Grossology show - 10.30am and 2.00pm. Professor Blubber and his Team perform a 25 minute stage show using music, humour and interactive participation to enthuse students about whales, whale watching and the marine environment of South Australia (Year R-7).
Grubs Up sessions – 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm. This truncated session explains the feeding techniques of baleen whales; it is an interactive hands on session and runs for approximately 30 minutes (Year 3-7).

A fun time is had by all at our annual Whaletime Playtime Festival.
Imagine a kid's wonderland. The 2012 Whaletime Playtime Festival created an exciting atmosphere for Children aged between 3 – 10 yrs of age.
With great performances by exceptional South Australian Children's artists as well as Victor Harbor's very own Professor Blubber – and Henrietta the Humpback!
