Whale Season Launch will be held at the SA Museum on Tuesday 27th May. Help us celebrate the start of the 2014 Whale Season! Professor Blubber and his team will be on hand to entertain, plus there will plenty of hands on experiences and kids activities. It's a great way to learn about the different aspects of marine life, in a fun and friendly environment. Free Activities throughout the day include:
Professor Blubber Grossology show - 10.30am and 2.00pm. Professor Blubber and his team perform a 25 minute stage show using music, humour and interactive participation to enthuse students about whales, whale watching and the marine environment of South Australia (Year R-7).
Whale Grubs Up sessions – 11.15am, 12.00 and 1.00pm. This truncated session explains the feeding techniques of baleen whales; it is an interactive hands on session and runs for approximately 30 minutes (Year 3-7).
A range of different interactive free stalls will also be available for you to enjoy. Schools are required to book into the Whale Grubs Up, please call 08 8551 0752.

A fun time is had by all at our annual Whaletime Playtime Festival.
Imagine a kid's wonderland. The 2013 Whaletime Playtime Festival created an exciting atmosphere for Children aged between 3 – 10 yrs of age.
With great performances by exceptional South Australian Children's artists as well as Victor Harbor's very own Professor Blubber. New this year is Kondoli the Inflatable Whale and the Tal Kin Jeri Dancers.
