Two Southern Right Whales were seen just 50 metres from the viewing platform at the Head of Bight Visitors Centre on Wednesday 3rd May at 11:00 am. It is thought that the pair are an adult and juvenile, and they stayed nearby for 3 days before disappearing again.

We are so excited, and eagerly looking out for the first visitors here on the Fleurieu Peninsula – get your binoculars out – could be any day now !
