Join us this April for our School Holiday activities!
‘JUNIOR WHALE SPOTTERS’ school holiday sessions.
Kids will learn how to observe and identify different whales that visit the coast in South Australia, in time for the upcoming whale season, through games, craft and fun!
Learn about Southern Right Whales, Humpback Whales, Dolphins and other species found in South Australia, and make origami and craft whales to take home.
Sessions run Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each week of the holidays from 1:30pm to 2:30pm on Tuesday 18, Thursday 20, Friday 21, Tuesday 25, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April 2017.
Tickets $8 per child, and adults $4.50.
Full payment is required at time of booking on eventbrite, or bookings can be made directly through the SA Whale Centre by phoning 8551 0750 between 10:00am – 5pm – open 7 days.
These programs are recommended for primary school aged children.

*Children under 4 years of age require parental supervision at all times. Children over 4 years of age can be left for the duration of the program, under the care of our staff and volunteers who all have current child safe police checks.
The South Australian Whale Centre offers holiday programs for primary aged children aged 5 – 12 years (younger children may participate if supervised by an adult).
Sessions for the general public are on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week of the school holidays and OSHC Centre and group bookings are welcome Monday to Friday of each week.
Programs include hands-on science based experiments, activities and mind-boggling feats of science, magic and discovery developed around different marine themes each holidays. Students will be enthralled with the opportunity to take part in a safe and enjoyable environment.
